Elder Stoney Crosby was born on November 25, 1950 in Anderson, South Carolina. He moved to Winston-Salem in 1958. Elder Crosby grew up in Winston-Salem and attended the local schools. He married his wife, Cynthia Crosby, in 1977. Elder & Mrs. Crosby have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.
Elder Crosby was called into ministry to preach the gospel in 1984. He attended Piedmont Bible College and received an Associates degree from Grace Institute of Biblical Studies in 2003. Elder Crosby still resides in Winston-Salem. He has been an Elder at Sovereign Grace Chapel for 30 years since 1985 and has been instrumental in many ministries of the church including teaching in the Sovereign Grace Bible Institute, teaching adult Bible Study, teaching children's Sunday School, etc.
